Looks: Hermione is turning out to be quite the beautiful young lady, at fifteen years she has grown from the extremely bushy haired, buck toothed girl into a more confidant, pretty young woman. She still has her bushy brown hair, yet she manages to tame it a little more and it looks nice on her. She still has those gentle brown eyes that can either be alight with delight, or stern with dissaproval. She has grown to a decent height, though she is still rather dwarfed by Harry and Ron and a lot of her fellow students, but she has retained a more slender shape.
Personality: At first glance, Hermione is, and likely always will be seen as a bossy know it all. Indeed, Hermione can be a little overbearing at times, eager to prove herself and show what she knows. And as for the bossiness... Well that is most often simply her way of keeping her beloved friends safe from harm. Both of these traits are not meant to be bad by Hermione... She doesn't feel hardly adequate, being Muggle Born and constantly looked down upon for this, so she feels the need to prove herself time and time again by being the best in everything she can.
Hermione is really a sweet girl, caring and compassionate. She is always there to lend a hand to her friends in whatever they need, as long as it doesn't break the rules too bad... Unless that is absolutely necessary... And even the rules Hermione is growing slightly less tense on. Spending time with Harry and Ron can easily do that to a girl... In any case, Hermione is frightfully smart and is always more than willing to share her knowledge, especially when it gets her best friends out of the scrapes they always seem to get themselves into...
Imperfections: Hermione is not good with things she can't learn from a book... So things like flying, divination, and many other things that require practical talent may very well be out of reach for the brilliant witch. Plus she's terrified of heights and can't stand imprecise magic, so those things don't work anyway...

Mirror of Erised: If Hermione looked into the Mirror of Erised, she would likely see herself older, done with Hogwarts, and being told she had gotten top marks in absolutely everything... And oddly enough, there in the background, one of the faces that was most prominant would be the smiling face of Draco Malfoy... (How odd...)
Boggart: If faced with a Boggart, it would be likely that it would transform into Professor McGonnagal, looking stern faced and dissapointed, informing Hermione she had failed everything...
Patronus: Hermione's patronus is an otter.
Let's look back. Shall we?
History: Up to this point, Hermione's life has been rather eventful... She started out in the Muggle world, likely unknowing that she was a witch... Sure enough, like all young witches, she made things happen that she couldn't explain... She was fortunate to have understanding, and supportive muggle parents, although it was likely a shock for them... Soon enough she would get her letter to Hogwarts.
Hermione was quite excited about the idea of becoming a witch, and finding something else to be brilliant at, and so of course she would go as soon as possible. Once she got her books, she would set to reading them all right away, getting a good handle on what she would be learning before she even left for the castle. Well... You know the rest... Once she boarded the train that first time, she met her two best friends upon that train.
Meeting these two started off an incredible adventure for Hermione, one of which she helped to retrieve the Sorcerer's stone, she aided in the closure of the Chamber of Secrets, though she was rather petrefied for the good part, darnet... She played a huge role in saving Buckbeak and Sirius Black, and of course she was with Harry throughout the Triwizard Tournament... Through all this time she was always there for Harry and Ron both, playing a vital role as their best friend... This was Hermione Granger...[/right]

Rp Sample: The morning dawned bright and warm. It was the first day of classes for the new year at Hogwarts. Sure enough, things were tense and uncertain around the castle... Already whispers had been floating around about Harry and all that had gone on, yet Hermione was determined not to let that bother her this fine morning. Nor was she about to let it bother her two best friends...
She got up imediately when the light would filter in through her curtains, awakening her and readying her for the morning. She got changed quickly into her school robes. This morning was one she had been looking forward to all summer... The morning they got their schedules and began the year! Well... She would bound down the stairs, finding she was up and around before anyone else was. And yet it couldn't be too early for breakfast...
Her excited steps would carry her out of the common room and out toward the Great Hall. She heard some talking and so it wasn't likely she was too incredibly early. She headed for the door, and yet as she turned the last corner, she would run right into someone. She paused to give a light appology, without registering who it was, and headed right into the brightly lit hall. She was right, dotted here and there were other early risers, who sat at their tables. Thus she would move toward the Gryffindor table and take a seat. She chose one not real close to anyone, keeping two seats near her open for her two best friends, who would likely roll out of bed at the last moment.
In her right hand, she had one of her many course books clasped tightly in it and would imediately bring it up to begin reading as she awaited Harry and Ron to rise from bed. A glance up over her book would bring her gaze to the Slytherin table, where her gentle brown eyes met with the steely silvery blue gaze of another... She tensed up a little as she registered the smirk. Draco Malfoy... An antagonist to the trio, and yet... Something about him made Hermione wonder... She shook her head slightly and imediately buried her nose back into the book. That was much safer... A deep breath was taken as she read. Well... She was home.
Did you read the rules? Of course!
Do you agree with the rules? Yup yup. I agree, they are good rules.
