Name: Lucy Jefferson
Age/Year: 15 / 5th year
Prefered House: Gryffindor
Wand: 10 inches, Holly and Phoenix Feather
Blood Line: Half-Blood
Looks: Lucy has pale white skin, dark red lips and emerald green almond shaped eyes. She has straight raven black hair down to the middle of her back. Standing at 5 ft 5 inches, Lucy is about average height and weighs 120 lbs. Her looks coupled with her walk which sometimes makes it look like she's floating gives her an elvish aura, though she has no elvish blood in her (or so she's been told.)
Personality: Lucy is an interesting girl. She loves to read, write, draw and paint. Her favourite classes are Transfiguration and Defense Against the Dark Arts, though she also excels at Potions, Charms, Herbology and Arithmancy. She believes in following rules and seldom breaks them, believing that they are there to be followed and that they lead to the greater good. Lucy can most often be found on the castle grounds or in the Library.
More important to her than books and spells however are her friends. She is a very loyal and brave person, willing to step in and help anyone who needs a hand. She hates injustice with a passion. Her favourite foods are almost anything that has to do with strawberries and peaches. She believes that all creatures, be they house elves, goblins, giants, werewolves, you name it, should be treated equally and with respect. She cares little for blood status and instead believes people should be judged based on merit and their inner goodness. She also loves nature.
Imperfections: Sticks a little too closely to rules, sometimes even when they should be broken. She also has a tendency to keep secrets and confides in few.
History: Lucy's father, Allian, descended from the Jefferson family, a well-known pure-blood family labelled as 'blood traitors.' Her mother, Elena Doddins, is a Muggle born witch. The Jeffersons have a history fo having little regard for blood status. There aren't any famous wizards or witches in her family, the only person who came close was Elphias Jefferson who invented a way to get rid of the smell from exceptionally smelly dung pellets. Most of th Jefferson family were Gryffindors, with a few Ravenclaws, Hufflepuffs and even a Slytherin for good measure.
Family: Her parents are Elena Doddins and Allian Jefferson. She has a younger brother named Travers who is seven years old and an older sister named Elena who is 22 and is engaged to Patrick Everfelt, a former Ravenclaw and now a Ministry Official.
Likes: Strawberries, peaches, horses/unicorns, snow and books.
Dislikes: Voldemort, Dark magic, Divination and all that stuff.
Rp Sample: Lucy made her way past the Whomping Willow as she trudged from the edge of the Forbidden Forest where she had been picking bowtruckle roots for her potions assignment. She had lost her roots when Sadie Helpkins of Slytherin tripped and spilled them into Lucy's cauldron, ruining her potion which promptly had started hissing and turning an ugly shade of green. Lucy had hastily pulled them out with a summoning charm, but they were ruined beyond repair, and definately not in any fit state to be used for a diagram.
